In a school with a rich history like EIGSI, a school where our shared values form an unshakable foundation that is essential to academic success, a sense of belonging, teamwork and team spirit are key components of the student organizations.
The Integration cluster is a perfect illustration of this situation. The clubs in this cluster help build links among the engineering students. They promote interaction and socializing and help current and former EIGSI students get to know each other.
A sampling of associations in the Integrating cluster
Inté is a club whose activity is often concentrated at the beginning of the year. Its role is to facilitate the integration of new students.
Iso has a similar role to Inté, except that it focuses on welcoming international students. The club helps them get settled in La Rochelle and complete all their paperwork, and introduces them to French culture, local customs and EIGSI traditions.
The Kfet is one of the main social hubs of the school. It provides musical entertainment, food and drink, and students meet there between classes to have a bite to eat, chat with friends or study. The Kfet is self-managed by the EIGSI engineering students!
WAH (Women are Heroes) is a club whose aim is to promote the role of women in engineering and give a voice to the female students at EIGSI. The members of WAH are active and committed. They organize business conferences to help them meet working female engineers for constructive experience sharing.
