At EIGSI, study abroad is a major area of strategic development. The school currently offers more than 40 double degree programmes and plans to provide a range of international programmes for each of the majors.
International experience is a key factor in EIGSI’s educational philosophy, and the students must spend at least 17 weeks abroad in order to graduate. They can spend a semester studying in one of our 80 partner institutions worldwide, or do an internship.
EIGSI Casablanca
Since 2006
EIGSI has also exported its know-how and educational expertise abroad. In 2006, we founded our campus in Casablanca.
EIGSI Casablanca offers Moroccan students a general engineering education in 5 years identical to what is offered at EIGSI La Rochelle, both in terms of course content and testing methods (continuous assessment, type of tests, exam dates, etc.).
Both campuses have the same objectives : give its engineering students a broad scientific and technical culture adapted to the needs of business, with, in the first year, hands-on practice to cement theoretical knowledge.
The internships and industrial projects undertaken by the students of Casablanca also give them the operational experience that is in high demand by companies in all sectors.
Finally, Casablanca’s engineering programme opens up additional career opportunities for its students. Those who wish to can earn a double French and Moroccan degree by completing their 4th and 5th years at EIGSI La Rochelle or earn a Master in a French or foreign university.
Likewise, students from La Rochelle can also complete a portion of their studies in Casablanca.
