The general nature of the engineering education at EIGSI has been part of the school’s DNA since 1901. In EIGSI’s educational project, this translates into common core classes that build the general scientific culture of EIGSI engineers, giving them a key skill: the ability to engage in relational leadership.
This skill as well as the 13 other key skills of EIGSI Engineers are hallmarks of accomplished, flexible, adaptable general engineers, with a high-level scientific background.
In keeping with its five core values EIGSI La Rochelle interacts closely with and supports the engineering students throughout their studies. EIGSI has set up innovative systems to support the students in their first 3 years, revolving around personal relations, self-awareness, stress management, and openness to others. At the end of their studies, the students are in a position to make career choices in an ethical manner.
